arkansas cavers?
Any of you fine folks do any spelunking? I'm planing a trip up to the Buffalo River area and I'd like to find a cave to explore. Something non-commercial that requires no rigging and little or no swimming.
Thoughts?

I know of a couple around Erbie and then there's always Lost Valley. LV has a couple small caves and one at the end of the trail has a 30 foot waterfall inside.....

Gary, I'd love some info on the ones around Erbie if you could share. I'll also probably hit the Lost Valley one too. Thanks for the tip.

What part of the river? What dates. Buffalo is one of the best rivers.
Are you hiking or canoeing? Lots of the caves have been left out of books and gated off because of damage. If your in the upper area you need to check out hemmed-in-hollow. 200 ft waterfall.

Best way is by canoe on the upper buffalo. You can hike a 4 mile trail listed here.
