I didn't make it to Flat Nasty ths year. I went to Tall Corn Cruiser Classic in Iowa and they were just too close together. I had to cancel on Gilmer this year as well do to funds. Loosing my job in April was the last I heard.

Intro
Hello everyone, Justin Tubb here. Over the last couple years I have lived up in Kansas City and wheeled with the Tornado Alley Cruisers. Currently in the process of moving to Bentonville Ar due to job change.
I have a 1991 4runner that will go places that scare my poor seat cushion. Looking forward to some good wheeling this year.
Here is a couple pics of cruise moab 2007, can't say enough good stuff about that trip.

NE Ark
Hello folks,
Checking in from NE Arkansas . . . Jonesboro, AR area.
My son & I have been wheeling w/ the AR-TTORA & RLC folks, but the RLC club is going through some growing pains. . . Anyway, looking forward to this season, plan to try SMORR & Flat Nasty. What's the scoop on Byrd's?
Here's my junk. Perfect wheeler for the price.
Maybe I need to join up w/ you folks?

Hey OldTruck,
Good to hear from you.
I have witnessed first hand the growing pains that the Razorbacks LC are going through. We were down at the Ramble last year and most of them wouldn't even speak to each other.
Let us know when your able to head up to SMORR. Thad and I will be makeing several pre runs before the event in Sept.
I have wheeled in the Ozark National Forest around Byrds and have seen they're property but never been to one of they're events.
I know in the past they have had some big events with trail rides and monster trucks.
Hope to meet you soon.
Marty

I wanna play too..... My name is Tim. I live in Springfield, work in Rogersville. I've been working on my 40 for something like 3 or 4 years. It is finally getting to where I can see the finish line. My rig has been through a full frame off. It basically started as a money making venture but is now going to be my DD/toy. It has alot of cool custom touches and was done on the cheap, well relatively. Somewhere between 3 or 4 grand total.
This is my first short wheelbase rig. I'm going to have to learn how to wheel all over again. I was going to move to Colorado but plans have changed for now. Hoping to meet you guys and hit some trails together. Here's my 40

Ya man, same body. A sheet of 16ga can do wonders..... well, from 10 feet away. I am shooting for may 1st as a deadline. We are going to have a big booth at the 4x4 jamboree and I want it there. Really I just need to change my rear output flange and get my driveshafts made, then fix a brake leak at the front axle and I could drive it. Wow, I could drive it.... THAT ROCKS!!!
Anybody need a 62 series front axle housing??? Leftovers from the FDB swap. Let me know, it's just ssitting there making a grease spot.

May 2nd and 3rd. 4x4 Jamboree at the fairgrounds. It's a national event. Usually alot of rigs there. Only 3 or so Landcruisers. Definitely going to have mine there, so maybe 4. We are getting a 40' booth for our store. Bringing out tires, wheels, suspension, and other goodies. It sucks having to work during the show but at least I get in for free. If the weather is good ALOT of people show up, but if not........ It's really not worth the $65 or so to enter a rig, but it makes for a fun day to walk and check it out. If you make it out stop by the Sportsland booth and say hi.
Oh yeah, that front housing is free if anybody is interested. Of course if you just so happened to have an extra bottle of Jaeger that you need to get rid of, i'd consider a trade...

Wade told me I ought to pop my head over here and say hello. My name is Cory, been an avid wheeler in the area for several years. Some of you that make your way over to YotaTech or AR-TTORA probably know me. Original wheelin rig was an 87 4Runner locked up and on 37"s before I decided to part ways with it and come over to the LC side. Now I'm wheelin a 94 LC factory locked with a TJM front, Ramsey 9K, and about to get some metal work. I'm currently tryin to find time to do some maint to it, and then get the sliders made for it. I've scrounged up all the steel, just need to get to it. After that its rear bumber time, and so on. I'll see if I cant get some pics of the rigs posted up.
Also, I live in Monett, MO but I'm frequently in Springfield (grew up there and have family in Springfield.)

Actually I was planning on it (Wade informed me), but its my Grandfather's B-day that weekend, and I need to go to that. I'm hoping to make it out to another one of your get togethers! It looks like this year is going to be extra busy with all the wheelin, so far I've got trips planned for April, June, August, Sept, and October...
First things first though, I really need to get some sliders made and welded on. I've got all the material, I just havent found the time or help. However, I'm debating a 1"-1.5" body lift, and I'm thinking if I'm going to do that, I ought to do it before the sliders. However my concern on the body lift is raising my front TJM bumper to match.... I just need to crawl under there and start looking at it. And, I havent figured out at what body lift height you have to start messing with linkages and the like. That's going to be this afternoon's search.

Cory,
I don't know anyone who has done a body lift on an 80 so I can help out on that but I know that Christo Slee has done them to put in the dual Trasfer case. I would call and talk to them at Slee they are allways helpfull. They might even sell the lift as a kit.
