Hi guys im new here and doing some research on gathering oil and trying to find a more easy way to gather oil on the road.

i have found a one shot filtration system by golden fuel systems
they claim you can suck dirty oil and filter it on the spot no need for settling time. now this is expensive at 1000 dollars.

i have been thinking with $1000 you could build your own and get two "Racor 1000FH3122" and equip one with a 10 micron and the other with a 2 micron filter. and a higher flow pump run them together and strait into your vegi oil tank or into a high capacity tank at home for storage to be left for some heating time if needed to dry out the water but i don't think that is necessary drying out the oil from water is needed because the filter will separate water pretty good.

what is your opinion do you think this will work well? seems alot more easy that starting a cube farm?

Dumpster diving for your WVO is fraught with peril - you run the risk of getting water in your tank, and the Racor Aquablock filters will take some of it out, but not all. Here's a link to what I recommend:
