Newbie needs info

I have a few questions about running some type of used fryer oil in my truck. I have a 2B diesel and will be putting a turbo on it soon.

q1) Can someone give me a quick overview of how to go about using veg in my truck?
q2) What performance/efficiency can I expect from using veg?
q3) what issues have come up - maintenence issues- from using veg?
q4) anything else I should know about when considering this change - cost, time, etc would be great!

I hope this could become a great sticky as a Newbie faq to this section if there is enough information.

great idea on the sticky! i'm on the same boat. check out Greasecar Vegetable Fuel Systems it's got faq's and i also spoke to a very knowledgeable guy.

i'm also slowly reading through the posts on this thread, tonnes of info.

sounds like it's a win win situation! cheap if not free WVO, a moderate modification on truck, and just learning how to use the system.
