Which type of sealant for veg oil fittings?
I'm using brass NPT/NPTF fittings and despite their bombproof claims, I'd feel better about throwing some sealant on there. More importantly, I need some sealant for the tank where I'm passing the coolant lines through using brass fittings on either side. I've heard some sealants will get eaten up by veg and I'd like a solid setup. Sorry if this has been answered multiple times, couldn't find it. Thanks.

I think the black oil grade silicon sealant will be fine for the tank. Veggie or Bio only eats away natural rubber. You shouldn't put it on the threads IMO. Its just messy and not required.

I used white teflon tape on my stuff this weekend. Seals it up good.
