Weekend of Nov. 13-15. Don't know about camping cause Stoney isn't set up for it yet. I'm bringing some pulled pork and brisket on Saturday. Don't know any other particulars.

I'm in for Saturday I'm not sure yet about camping. I for sure will be where ever that brisket is!

Talked to the dude above... no not God, dragr1... I think we might try to make this a day trip... if nothing else then spend the night some place between here and there and then come home Saturday evening. But I want to meet ya'll and see the park.

Yeah, the list of stuff to do on my rig is long though. We'll see if it gets done by then, hopefully so.

Because I'm coming up to B'ham this Saturday and have a trip the 3rd weekend of the month, then Thanksgiving/Iron Bowl... I'm not sure if my pocket book can make the trip on the 14th... We're gonna see how it plays out. but I think it's gonna be too much for me to handle...

I'm in and I think a guy that I work with may come up. He just bought a Liberty and has to prove that it's not a lady car.

Someone upstairs has an extreme sense of humor....
So I missed the Crawl because of my brother coming into visit from Washington State....
My sister calls me this evening to let me know that she will be coming in from Washington state with her two kids for my other brothers surprise birthday...... guess when his birthday is...
This looks to be the nail in the coffin for me....
Seriously? Some kind of higher power is is making me stick to the whole "family is most important" thing...
Yes Lord, I love Land Cruisers and love wheeling... but family is first.

Now you see what happens when you buy an FJZ instead of waiting on a FJ.

Well I would love to tell you there where left overs but no such luck. Between all the high school games that were played yesterday I ate them all.

Looking for a "snowball's chance" in this here rain storm we're having...
What's the itenerary?
How does the park look after this much rain this we're receiving?
When are people departing the B'ham area? what day?
Depending on how soon my family gets into an all-out-fight (we're from Lower Alabama) determines if i can make it or not...

No intenerary as of yet may try and nail one down tomorrow night. If it stops raining today we should be okay i've been up there back during our monsoon of August/ September when we had a couple of dry days and it wasn't bad at all. Actually a little better since it cuts down on the dust.

similar thing happened to me at skyline..... 4*4 did not work... found out once I was way down the muddy trail ...going downhill where traction was not a big deal.... determined that going up muddy hill required 4*4.
I know on my former GM pickup.... it would take 30sec or more for 4*4 to engage, once lever set to 4*4. I would bet its something to do with teh acuator or electronic controls...whatever the ford usese to enable the front axle.
