No lift, 31", Rear Aussie Locker
My truck did everything I wanted it to at Tellico at this year's GSMTR. I will eventually do a 4" lift with 33".

Couple of dated pics but of fun wheeling trips nonetheless.
Katemcy TX at the Roundup 06. Mark A keeping my panels off the rocks.
Moab's Gold Bar Rim trail in August 06. Couldn't get too serious as we were soloing it 40 miles into the wilderness with only a mildly equipped 40. Fun story.
Last one just testing out the suspension mods and the 35's on Fort Hood in central Texas a couple months ago. Notice that lonely bumper finally got it's 8274 mate.
Licensed as a 75 but has some later parts you might notice.
Fiberglass tub and rear doors
Carbed SBC mated to the Toyota drive train
Big ass aluminum radiator
Discs front and back
Saginaw PS
A pillar cage added
OME lift suspension
VDO gauges
Warn 8274 winch
Cibie and Hella aux lights
Built by me shtuff: Front 8274 bumper, roof racks, rock sliders,
rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, cooler basket, and integrated 2" receiver hitch,
lift/leveling 3/8" shackles, 2" body lift (which I can't stand).

I finally got my rear bumper finished so I thought an updated picture was in order. I think the bumper turned out alright for a first time builder.

Nice Rigs!
I like how the ARB was painted the same as the trim. Looks sweet.
Nice 40! Is that a tire carrier that has been moded for a gas can carrier?
X2 Rovers suck. I can't see how people buy those things. Unreliable POSs.

Here's my rig:
'73 FJ40
---------
F engine and 4 speed tranny
Front axle: mini-truck discs, SOA, 4x4labs hysteer, 4.88's, aussie locker, shackle reversal
Rear axle: SOA, 4.88's, welded
37" Gateway Nylon R Buckshots, home-made sliders and anti-wrap bar, saginaw power-steering.
It was pretty much stock when I bought it except for the 4 speed tranny.
