Brownbear, that sounds tempting, but I've been prejudiced against electric fans by some of the posts on this board. What the hell, though, if everything else on the bloody truck is electronic.
Besides, it does sound like a good setup for these rigs and their marginal cooling systems.
I'm not sure what you mean about the 24v issue. The LJ78 is 12v, presumably your friend's 4Runner is the same?
