Need repair shop in/near Albuquerque

Friend recently moved to Albuquerque with her 95 Toyota 4x4 Truck. She needs to find an honest repair shop for diagnostic and repair work - needs timing chain soon.

Suggestions???

Thanks!

Hey, I live in Albuquerque and here is the link for the local chapter and post up there and someone should be able to help out your friends with a good shop. Most of us do are own work, but we should be able to take care of another Toyota lover.

I would contact Ryan Eklund at Karl Malone Toyota (a local dealer). He is the shop foreman there, and for mud members, if he is slow, he will take in a vehicle for "surge" work to keep his mechanics busy. They will do the work for a discounted labor rate (I think $35 per hour) and take about 20% off the price of parts. The car may have to stay a couple of extra days, but not long. I got $1500 worth of work done on a 4Runner I recently bought for my daughter and they took about 5 days, cost above list price was less than $200. My daughter is going to college about a thousand miles away so you know I trust him.

Go see the "MAN" Cruiser Dan over at American Toyota, he will hook your friend up! He is the Parts Manager and i strongly reccomend 2 Techs for their Experience which is second to no one! Tod and Rich are a couple of the best Techs i have ever used and continue to use and all 3 are the BEST!! All 3 of my Toys will never use anyone but Tod or Rich! Good people!!
