best location for cb mount on tacoma

i have an 01 tacoma and just got a cb radio to install. i would like to see some pics or get some ideas from some of you all about how and where to mount the antenna. right now i don't have any aftermarket bumpers or anything to mount to. i want it to be out of the way and not interfere with my camper top i take off and on occaisionally.

thanks

You could use a pistol to "drill" thru your roof and mount it there.
I remember my dad doing that to his pickup back in the '70s.
Otherwise, I can't help here...Good luck!

I use 2-way radios for work. Typical antenna mount is with an L bracket on a front fender. This is also a typical install of a booster kit for a cell phone as well.
Attached is a pic of my old Tundra with the antenna mounted drivers side.

Yes, the fender mount is probably your best bet. Of course, you can also get the magnetic roof mount antenna. Me personally, I just have a handheld unit. I'd like to get a dedicated in-car unit one of these days.
