I know some old (1st gen Taco's) ABS systems had the sensor on the 3rd member . That might have changed by now, IDK.
And if you're worried about the interchangeability, if the two systems can co-exist, yes. They will get along just fine. Just think of the TRD Locker as an ARB. The reason a ARB works so well in other brake biased systems is b/c the
wheel
speed
sensors don't pick up any differentiation. They are assuming, as they monitor, the vehicle is traveling in a straight line b/c both axles have the same rotation, side to side.
The TRD system is not an automatic one, so that might help. You can buy cable actuators for them and leave the computer retrofit out altogether.
If I could find a chunk, and that's where the ABS sensor is, I'd go for it. It might not be though, it might be in the
WSS's. And come to think of it that still wouldn't stop it from working. Just use a block-off if your TRD has the ABS sensor in the chunk. The rest of the system won't even know it's there, unless the new stuff is tied into the ATRAC
Hope that helps, if not, I just like hearing myself talk....
