Need advise on a 1996 Taco 4x4

1996 4x4 v6 TRD supercharger 5 speed 157k miles, I can purchase it for $5250

what milage do the superchargers fail ? Are there any other areas of concern for this truck?

Its probably worth the money. The supercharger alone is probabaly worth $1500. The mileage may be a concern depending on how long the supercharger has been installed. Also, was there the injector kit installed too? If the injector kit wasn't installed it causes the motor to lean out under full throttle, causing premature wear.

The only other area of concern would be the frame rust. Toyota has recalled all Tacoma's from 1996 -2000 if they have frame rust. They are buying back all trucks that have the problem at 150% of their NADA "good condition" value. A lot of people are actually getting more from Toyota than they paid for their trucks when they bought them.
