`99 4Runner Rear Coils???

I'm helping a friend with his `99 4Runner. It has sagging rear springs. I would like some recommendations on what would be a good replacement for the stock springs. He wants a little lift so it will be more level or have small amount of rake. The current springs seem to be very soft. So, if the new springs are a little stiffer it would help.

Also, where can I find an FSM online that would help me with changing his rear springs?

Thanks guys.

Hey Kevin,

I can help you out with some Old Man Emu springs, these would give him roughly 1.75-2 inches of lift.

We can also help you out with the FSM

Give me a shout 866 233 4305

Jacque beat me to it! I was just finding a link for him to check out some of your great products...
OFFROAD GEAR> OLD MAN EMU SUSPENSIONS Parts and Accessories for 1999 Toyota 4 Runner

That's what I would recommend, and changing them out is pretty easy.

Thanks guys, I have surfed the web and I have found the OME springs on different sites. The ones that we have looked at are the, 906, 890 and 891. The big question is, what are the differences between these coil springs and how they compare to the factory springs?

What I was looking for was, what others are using and how they like them. This 4Runner is wheeled, but nothing to difficult.

Kevin,

The part numbers are as follows :

906 = 2" lift
890 = 2.75"lift 15 mm bar diameter 190 lbf /in spring rate
891 = 3.00"lift 16 mm bar diameter 210 lbf/in spring rate

I am looking at a product guide, and for the life of me, I can not find the 906 spring in it. I will call ARB tuesday(closed monday) and find out the spring rate and diameter for you.

Thanks.

Do you have any idea what the factory springs were rated at? If you can, ask ARB if they know what the factory springs are rated at.
