Post rock sliders 2001 tundra

i just started building some rock sliders for my 2001 tundra, i am usin 2"x3" square tubing and 1 1/2" round tubing, here i got some pics. i will post more later.

once the base for the sliders are in place it's time to bend some tubing

and some welding

Looks good...keep up the photos!

Got enough clearance between the pinch welds and the slider?

Nice job!

I really like the bolt on and tube additions!

Should you gusset the mounting plate area so the sliders dont fold up the mounting plate when they hit something? Just my .02. I don't know the thickness of the mounting plate.

Looks real clean.....I do agree w/the gussets. I hit mine hard enough on the last trip that they would have been toast w/out them.

next time i take them down, i will ad some gussets for extra support, the mounting plate is 1/4" thick and with that angle rocks should slide right out.
