Rear Drive Shaft Question

What year 4runners had (if they even did) a double cardan rear drive shaft. I got one that I can only assume came from a '96-'98 4runner 4x4 limited. It was inside of it at the junk yard so it's hard to be sure.

All 3rd gens should. I know for certain that '97 to '02 had them, and not just limited editions, but all.
