96 4-Runner Brake Question
I had to brake hard today to avoid a collision. I was only going about 25mph but turned to the right while braking. When turning I heard a clicking noise which I assumed was the ABS kicking in. Now there is a slight pull to the left when braking. As you come to a stop the pedal seems to soften, kinda like when the ABS activates during hard braking. Anyone got any ideas about what might be going on here?

What does the fluid look like, opaque or transparent? A clicking noise is different than a pulsating feel through the pedal. Possibly something came loose, fluid is old and saturated, air bubbles. Check all the easy things first, take the wheels off, look at the pads also since they're so easy to get to, check the rubber lines to the calipers, and go from there.

Loud annoying clicking sound, yes this is ABS going off. Like ^^ he said check your fluid color and check around all 4 wheels for leaks.
