Tell me about 2005 4Runners

My bro-in-law just got a 2005 4-Runner.
I'm trying to get him to wheel with me a little.

What are the details with the '05 4Runner 4WD system?
CDL?
ATRAC?

Aren't the current gen 4-Runners using Torsen centers?

etc.

Have you tried Yotatech or Toyota120 or UltimateYota? They are good resources for the current gen 4Runner.

Hayes,

HERE is the link to the run-down of the specs for an 05 4Runner.

To quickly answer your questions, all 4th Gen 4Runners have CDL and ATRAC. I have heard that the ATRAC is a bit toned down from the FJC version, but I am not sure. And the 4th Gens do use Torsen Center diffs. Hope that site answers all of your questions for you.

4wd has CDL and modern ATRAC, I have an '06 4runner and in my opinion the thing works awesome!
