2003 Tacoma free alarm upgrade

allright I know your in doubt about this but I tried it and it did work on my 2003 tacoma and would probably work on 2001-2004.

I unplug the one wire and it works. I ordered the glass break sensor. for $26.

Not sure that I want to add to the number of alarms frequently going off in my neighborhood, but I have come across another easy mod for my 2004 Taco.

At 6:00A, the piezzo buzzer for the keyless entry is quite loud, so I damped it down by taping over the hole in the buzzer over with electrical tape. The buzzer is a red plastic cylinder, about the size of a film canister located on the driver's side inner fenderwell under the hood.

Well if you just disconnect that one wire in the cable boundle your alarm(or horn) will only go off if someone opens the door while it's locked, or it losses power.
