Any idea how much you can tow with it? Do you lose any capability over the stock class 4 hitch? How much $$? I went to the website, but it's underconstruction at the moment...
It bolts right to the same frame holes the the original tow hitch and bumper did. It came with high strenght bolts and the steel is 1/2" where it bolts to the frame. I also have add a leafs in the back.
The specs say the Tacoma can tow 6500 lbs. I bet it can tow more now, easy.

The towing capability has a lot more to do with the springs and suspension, However you are correct that bumper compared to the rest of the chassis would be the last thing to fail.
Maybe I can't see because if this crappy monitor at work, but do you have lights for the license plate? Buddy of mine just got a ticket last week because he didn't have lights for the license plate.
That's one of the coolest features. The little bolts that hold the plate on have little LEDs in them. They connect to the OE Licence plate light clips.

Those lighted bolt heads are a common piece at any hot rod shop. I got mine from www.speedwaymotors.com. I think you can get the LEDs in different colors. There's a guy here in town that uses two of the red ones on his Harley for turn signals (I don't know if that meets the legal requirements of turn signals or not, but that's between him and the police).
