All I can tell you is that every knucklenut I talk to about my truck calls it an SUV. IT'S NOT AN SUV DAMNIT!!
SUV = built primarily for city driving, with 4WD as a secondary function (or afterthought, in Ford's case)
truck = either a pickup, or a 4x4 build PRIMARILY AS A 4x4.
