Front Suspension on Colorado

Hi, newbie here.
I was wondering, if you put a spacer in between the top shock/coil stud and the retaining plate, will it give better front droop? Will this also give a bit of lift to the front end if I use new std height springs/coils which is 20% stiffer?
Or do I need to fit spacers between the strut assembly and the mounting bracket to lift the front end .

Regards
Bosvark

a coil spacer will increase ride stiffness since you are preloading the springs. a top-out spacer will give you the lift desired without preloading the springs so the harshness of the ride doesn't suffer.. so go for the top-out spacers..that is the spacer between the top plate and the mounting frame..

Hi KZN185W

I have made a 30mm spacer out Aliuminium and fitted it between the assembled strutt and mounting bracket.
It has give me the lift I were looking for. Before new springs the ground to fender lip height was 865mm and now it is 960mm. The front tyres ,305/70R16 MT's is'nt touching any where now and the steering/handling feel more accurate.
The rear sits 50mm higher but it will level out as soon as I put all the stuff in what I normaly carry around.

I will upload some pictures later after figuring out how to do it
