Prado or Colorado... which one to buy in uk
Hey guys,
I have a 80 already which is a great 4x4, but looking for something for the little lady that might be a bit better on juice than my big old beast, ..what the differance between the 90 series prado and colorado, I am buying in the UK and I think the prado might all be imports!! is this right. Is it ok for spares in the uk with prado, do the dealers look after them or do they tell you to go elsewhere?? anything else worth knowing about them, __________________ 1995 4.5 VX Auto (Met Red) Stiff springs and OME shocks Dark Tint Alround Nudge bar Bosal SS Cat back Pipe Location - Grenada, West Indies Used mainly for pulling a boat www.grenadaseafaris.com |

The Prado 90 series and Colorado are the same vehicle, I think the Colorado name was only used in the UK. I'm not sure if the UK dealers will give you their full support if you buy an import, but it shouldn't be too difficult to visit one and ask around.

almost the same vehicle. the prado is intercooled, the colorado not. also the colorado has an electric locking rear diff as well as the centre. i'm not sure that the prado does.
in the UK, the Prado is a grey import but IS recognised by toyota dealers. hope this helps. |
