My guess is... YES it would cost a lot, unless you knew somebody who knew somebody, etc...

THAT IS for sure, plus you cant import it because of safety and emission standards, etc.... Dumb GOV and Toyota for not importing the PRADO.

Get a Lexus GX470. They are available in the states from 2003 on.

Its been done. how im not sure how but i wheeled with one the summer before last

A GX470 is basically a 120 series Prado. I guess if you're looking for a 90 series your closest match in the US is a 96-2002 4runner.

It just costs money to do it right. Go to the 70 series Tech and check out the importation thread at the top or search.
