I say, I have been watching this thread. Stop arguing. I don't care. This is good diesel info and it is being fawked by the squabble. End it!

Tech is for meaningful discusions. This one is getting silly.

Brownbear,
Thanks for the support on that point. I've got a thread on another forum of the same topic more or less. I've posted some photos and other tech info on the DPChip there.

This is the link to the other forum.

I bought JR Filterīs "Turbo Power JR"-box. No longer available (asked from JR), this was the last unit from my local store. But I am pretty sure Speed-Busterīs tuning box is the same unit with different label, both are named DENSO-E1-KIT and look identical with wires.

It is promised to give 20 more hp and 50 Nm more torque (125-145 hp, 295-345 Nm).

I havenīt installed it yet, but opened it just for curiousity. There is three links at the end (under end cover) and two leds inside... Do anyone know what are those for?

Deep Thought, how you connected your DPChip to ECU, are those two box wires connected to PIN11 at central part wires and to PIN14 at right part wires?

Matti,
The wire connecting/spliced to the ECU wiring loom are to the power wire and the accelerator pedal position sensor. Nothing else goes to the ECU.

As for the LED's. One is probably a power LED to indicate that the unit has power. The other maybe lights up when under heavy load like the DPChip.

I'd suggest that the unit is manufactured by someone else just like the DPChip is made by Kueberl Tuning Systems in West Germany.

Have a look at the link in the previous post.

Regards
D.T.
