Did some research, for those that like to go to the pick and pull. I know you can get these calipers for like $30.00 at rockauto.com but you can get the whole caliper w/hardware and pads at the pick n pull for like $5.00/ea. It bugged me I couldn't find a single Monte last time I was there. Call me cheap, info below:

Year Calipers (all front)
78-88 Monte Carlo
78-84 Malibu
78-83 El Camino
81-03 S10 Pickup 2WD
83-94 S10 Blazer 2WD
82-92 Camaro
78-81 Century
78-87 Regal
82-90 GMC S15 2WD
83-97 GMC S15 Jimmy 2WD
90-03 GMC Sonoma 2WD
78-84 Olds Cutlass

Cheers

thanks

thanks for the info got some s10 calipers to day for $30.00 with bolts. look like they will work good:grinpimp: :bounce:

Yep, I had two choices at the pick n pull, a '79 Buick Century that looked like it had sat for the last 30 years or a '97 S10 pickup that looked brand new, just been creamed in the side.

I picked the S10, got the bolts, lines, calipers, and pads that looked to be about 3/4, (Actually pretty thick for rear brakes, rear pads are always thinner than fronts) all for $15.32. I am kindof hoping that the lines are metric because of the late year of the truck, but I have not checked.

Waiting on my rotors.

Good info man, I just got my rear brake brackets from Poser yesterday, so I'll be heading out to the junk yard this weekend to find the rest.
