Group Buy orders has closed. Invoices are going out as of now. Thanks all.

Alright gents,

Let's get this started. I was trying to set up my website so you guys could view the information, and enter a code and everything would be done. However I can't figure out how to enable a group buy feature with a coupon code for each product. So I'm going to have to do it manually. I keep having issues with the site so I am going to leave that out for now, and come back to fix it at a later date. This is going to be a one time group buy, I can only do one in the 80 Series tech section.

How it works: Feel free to email me, or PM me if you have any questions. Once you know what you want to order please email me the following to info@expeditionlighting.org, with the subject field "GB-80".

When I get the information, your name/username will pop up in this first post below and you will be confirmed for the group buy. I will be closing the GB Dec 12, and placing all orders. I will begin sending invoices to those that have confirmed Dec 10th. All orders will go USPS Ground unless noted otherwise. Shipping is on your dime, so ground is the best/cheapest option. All packages will be insured with tracking #'s. Lead time is around a week to my door, and a few days from my door to your door. I will be updating the thread with shipping information once payments are received and everything is on its way to me.

**Please read below**
Details - These light bars come with 9006 connectors on them. There are no harnesses. Wiring them is very easy, a simple fused + wire running in-cab to a 2 way switch. I am trying to source relay harnesses but I am having a tough time finding some that I like, quality is my main issue with these. I will keep everybody posted and if I do find some in the next week, I will have them on order and in everybody's boxes. Again, as of right now there are NO relay harnesses.

The housings are aluminum bodies with sealed end caps, painted black (white is optional). They are 12V-24V compatible (10V-30VDC). The lens are a polycarbanate lens, perma-sealed in place. These are rated at IP67, this is the ingress protection of the light bars. The “IP” stands for “Ingress Protection”. The first number is the rating for solid objects. Rating “6” means the unit is fully sealed against dust, and extremely fine particles. The second number on the IPXX rating is the protection against liquids and moisture. Rating “7” is sealed for water up to 1M (3 feet). The LED’s are Cree 3W LED’s, this applies to all the light bars. The mounting brackets are identical to Rigid Industries, which means any mount that works with the Rigid’s, are compatible. The warranty on the light bars is a 1 year warranty. It will cover everything except abuse, obvious user error, and installation damages. If a LED light bar begins having issues, I pay return shipping, confirm the issue, and will replace at no cost. Opening, modifying, or anything else is not covered either.

The beam patterns are a 8* Spot, or a 30* flood, they utilize a free form reflector. The Spot beam is going to provide ample ambient lighting for the immediate area.
The Flood beam is going to fill the immediate area with light, and the long distance penetration is going to be minimal.

The information below is going to be the final pricing for the light bars.

LabRack LED Light Bar Mount

Shane at LabRak (AATLAS1X) is going to be chiming in soon with several unique and fabulous light mounts. I first have to apologize for the terrible pictures, my Canon camera is at work, I will be replacing these photo's tomorrow night with high resolution DLSR. I have taken several photo's of the LabRack LED Light Bar Mounts.

Yes they are. I opened up my 2X2 earlier:

I like the 14 inch that slee sells for the bumper. Can the 13.5 inch fit with the right brackets?

The 13.5" mounting points are 14.9" apart. You can invert the mounts and make the distance 13.9". I will take a photo of the inverted mounts when I get back to my truck. That is how I have them mounted on my ARB.

Thanks I sent you an email

Are the larger light bars flood/spot combo?

As of now there is only flood and spot beams. The spot is going to provide more than enough ambient lighting to your surroundings as its a free form reflector ( even with the 12* beam pattern). The flood is going to fill your immediate area with light and still provide ample distance for driving. If your looking for a "combo", my 40" spot beam on the roof rack provides plenty of side lighting as well as distance.

All emails and PM's replied, keep em coming! I want to FILL this spread sheet and light up everybody's night!

do you have any specs on these as far as LUMENS? it would be nice to be able to compare them to other lights like rigid by looking at the actual lumens ratings.

This^^

And if the 13.5" will fir the short bus then I would be in. But I need to know for sure before I commit.

If someone can take a measurement of the short bus light tabs , that would be great.

Thanks

Dragging my feet posting. Glad you have lumen info. I will measure the short bus in the morning to see what the actual measurement is.

Holes in center tabs on my short bus are 9.75 inches center to center; 10 5/16 outer edge to outer edge of holes.

Posted!

Neither 13.5 or 21.5 are going to bolt in directly unfortunately. The Slee Short bus tabs are 9.75"/247.65. The 13.5" has a mounting space of 15.96/405.5mm. The 21.5" has a mounting space of 23.99"/605.5mm. Either of those options are going to require either tabs welded on.

For those with Slee Short Bus, you could take a flat piece of steel and mount it to the Short Bus tabs, then mount to light bar to the steel mount. If your a perfectionist it won't fly, however with a coat of black paint, you would barely see it. Unless the Slee Short Bus is a bumper where you can see everything and a flat steel mount is going to look horrible.

In for a 13.5" Spot. What doyou think about utilizing two of the 2x2s as well, angling both out a bit for a bit better spread and cornering illumination. The 13.5 would mount under the hoop on the slee and the 2x2s on top on the light brackets.
