Thumbs up

Inspiring. Definately a very uniquely effective modification. I would like to see, from solid ground, the bog that could actually stop that king 80.

Oh... and nice stance. Pilargo Amilio! (wider is better)

Loving the new look..but, I remember you saying you like your tires like your women, "Tall and skinny." I guess you now like girls that are even taller and hefty.

Hey Tired, I dont know how much this applys to you but you talked about a full belly pan. I raised my drivetrain a little over an inch and will have a flat belly pan from link to control arm. I am running a different tranny and t-case than you but I was able to to get a flat belly. Will post a pic when I get closer to the pan in my build.

I think I'm just going to make a stonger skidplate. I really don't rub that much on the bottom.

So George.....I recently checked the page linked in the first page of this buildup and it seems that the pics and everything are gone from the Tired-Iron webpage.

Did you move it to another site?

Thanks.

Best.

It's sitting on my trailer getting ready to head out to Mountain City, TN this morning for a day of wheeling.

If you want some good reading read the Pirate build thread...

Callalantee, it has a few good trails but not much to write home about. It has a good waterfall that I just about flipped over backwards on today, tore my rear bumper up (some more) and dented the quarter panel.

There was a girl video taping and taking pictures I'll post up when I get them.

Also, how the progress on the full belly skid?

Yes, but I did have them hold my front down with a strap. It kept wanting to come over when the springs started unloading, I'm going to weld a loop on the axle so I can use the winch to pull it down.

Cool.

I was thinking you may be holding off on the skid since there's a for sale sign in the window.

I finally got a good winch for the Cruiser, a buddy saw it on Pirate and gave me a heads up.

It's a Warn commerical 12K made for the Civilian H1 Hummer.

It has a narrower bolt pattern (8.5") than most standard winches (10") so I had to design some adapter plates to make it work on my bummer.
The original mounting bolts are 1/2"
