| Hit MOAB this past weekend, took my five year old for the first time as well as my step son. We had a blast!
The good thing was that I got 14 mpg on the way down and back on the freeway!
The bad things is that we got through Kane Creek completely with one less rear window and losing a rear flare in the process.
Here are a few pictures |

| What did you do with your 80...
Returned from a trip to the Eastern Sierras, SF Bay Area, and then some rock hounding in the Mojave. Some photos of where we went.
The truck is new to me (purchased about three weeks ago) and I'm still learning how it drives and updating fluids, etc. |

| I decided I wanted a better idea of engine coolant temp., so I picked up a pillar guage pod off e-bay for an Acura, and with a little trimming it fit great! I'm amazed how much the temp. flucuates with the new guage, while staying in the same place with the stocker. Must be a Toyota thing, my Dad's Camry did the same thing. Filled the other hole with a boost guage. I'm going to have to pull it back off and paint it though, wish I had thought ahead !

Then I drove it around and felt pleased with myself. |

Glad you had a no drama with the breakage. | Yes, I'm happy I did not loose a radius arm while descending a mountain pass loaded with the family and towing the camper. That could have been exciting in a bad way.
Now I guess I'm going to have to research this radius arm flip but I don't know if I need to add more work to the project.

| Put gas in it, loaded the trailer with the lawn mower, drove it to the cottage.
Checked fluids, Rotated tires, checked caliper bolts (I saw another forum member had a caliper bolt come out last week),
Put the roof rack on so could bring her latest piece of furniture home....
It was a great "Last" weekend of summer.
