Wild Wheeling Pics
I keep hearing the off road weenies claiming that our 80's are only luxury SUVs. Well, we all know the truth. Let's post some pics of 80's Curisers in difficult positions. That is, positions that the jeep/explorer/blazer crowd wouldn't touch.
May the posts begin..............

Actually it was created by Perry Loughridge, aka "Skelator", from Co for another thread. But I couldn't resist pinching it for here ..

I'd post one of me going up Hell's Gate, but Cruiserdrew beat me to the punch
Here's what it looks from the top -- Eric Vogt coming up (Hell's Gate) in his FJ80

Wow !!
Thanks to all for the dramatic pics. If they don't prove that our rigs are the most capable in the world, then the world really is flat. Great pics....keep 'em coming.

Alvaro took this one of my FJ80 on the same Hell's Gate trip as the one Doug posted. At this point I could no longer see the spotter so I was winging it. Also, no front locker! Don't show up at Cruise Moab and expect them to let you to do it without two lockers. This was a big problem for me at that moment. But Dan George was nice enough to let me give it a shot. It is probably one of my favorite pictures of that rig. I sure miss it. I like the extra power of the 94, but the 91 seemed to flex more. Same springs and shocks. It also didn't seem as tippy.

Ya know, I would assume that in doing the trail you'd get the name of the obstacle right (the wedgie, Poison Spider Mesa).
A few pics that I have of 80's Hopefully mine will be in there one day(that is whenever I get it.....)
Hmm, thought I had more than this.. Tim on Wipe out hill trail at Cruise Moab this year. And Daniel Markofsky crossing the "Mighty" San Rafael River.....

This trail was really steep! My bro's 05 Rubicon could not conquer it! My dad's cruiser did not even struggle, nice having a longer wheelbase Notice the front wheel in the air :

Dayum, they all are lookin hard. Taking em up stuff I wouldn't take the 40 (without regearing that is). When I get the 80 (long time from now) that's the type of wheelin I'll have in mind (except the submarine technique that is). Keepin it real and lookin great.
