Nah, I drove it..... just

It was very clingy mud but it had a hard bottom and with a few attempts I managed to drive it. The down side to that boghole
was when the mud dried it was almost impossible to get off.

Most of LCMP's mud is that TLC biege colour in the third pic which is easy to clean off. This black soil boghole was up in the back corner of the park that I don't usually visit but on this trip I had a mate in a stock HJ61 who didn't want to play hardcore with us so I took him
on a scenic tour. Of course when I found this hole I couldn't pass it by without giving it a go.

It was fun flicking globs of thick gooey mud over all the innocent bystanders.

You guessed it!

Although I got the guy on the right really well. He owns the sweet HDJ80 in the background. At the time he was my foreman at work. The pair of us make a habit of embarassing hugely modified POO-TROLS with our less modified 80's

The top pic is nasty though traction is Moab-like and there's a ramp right up the hill. For some reason I can't bring myself to try it. (Hell...my 100's front wheels been off the ground more than the 80 in the top pic. )

Here's a video of the lower line:

That's nothing to bragg about, that just means your IFS does twist and flex as much as yours and our 80's ........I still really want a 100 though......

Not bragging. That's true...less flex = more, or greater wheel lifts.

Though with the recent N74L mod on the 100...the articulation difference between the 80 and 100 is almost the same. The rear travel is now identical on both. The front differs by only ~2-inches. I can hardly tell the two apart off road now.

Impressive pics from all around the globe, Toyota really got it right . I'll forgive the Aussie chaps denigrating (means to talk badly about) the Patrols, obviously they'd had too much of the "golden throat lager" when they were typing..
In as far as the guy who got up "rock chucker" on Metal masher, good for you. Did you (or has anyone here) driven up widowmaker (on the same trail) and have pics of it?

This thread is about "wild wheelin' pics" and not about what flexes more and all that BS. So let's stick to the agenda, please!!

Thanks.

Take the L-shocks off an 80 and compare. They make a huge diff on a large tire'd 80. You know that Doug.

Compared to CM05 this 100 is an entire other beast. What an improvement! Others are taking the N74L challenge now too. You might see one a CM06.

If I could only get 2" more front travel now....ain't happening though this mod significantly closes the gap! Now if I could shrink the body! Mine too!

That's funny, you shot the shotts down....We should have a 100 series wild wheeling pics thread in the 100 series forum, then we'll see who's got the wilder pics ....

The 80-series of course. The lesser one has invested the more aggressive the typical person will be. When you can pi
