Yes it does. I am not sure if I will feel safe camping around some on the Overlnd Adventure after this! You must have seen it's posting on ExPo.

If you are going to yank out that rover and heep and mini you should at least do it in forward so you dont damage your truck.

Was his OBA broke or did he just physically not have any type of lockers? Talk about a beast with no fangs or claws!

Say what?
[QUOTE=General;653956]I keep hearing the off road weenies claiming that our 80's are only luxury SUVs. Well, we all know the truth. Let's post some pics of 80's Curisers in difficult positions. That is, positions that the jeep/explorer/blazer crowd wouldn't touch.
May the posts beg Now I like my Toyota LC just like the next guy but it wont go where this goes

Bwahahahahaha That thing is silly. Exo's are stupid. Makes rig bigger and heavier than it should be. Beefed up frame and beefed up axle. All that just to make it wheelable. My 80 would walk all over that. I'd even put a stock 80 up against that.

sure does but thats the way rock crawling competitions go.....
plus we dont have your infinite rockscapes over here
They followed somewhat UROC like guidelines and penalized 5 seconds per cone hit, 10 seconds per reverse, and 30 seconds per winch/tug. Some good spotting allowed me to walk away with 1st place in the wagon category and a 75 dollar gift cert.

Not sure why a XJ is posted here, but the comments make zero sense. A well designed exo means when you put your wife behind the wheel and she flops the rig, all you need is a can of spray paint to fix it along with a side mirror.
Doesn't interrupt your wheeling day longer than it takes to put the rubber side down. Try that with your 80.

So when is your "well designed" exo getting installed big man? Maybe instead of coating your rig with 20+ pounds of goop you should be welding on 100+ pounds of tube. If ya think exo's are sooo much better. And hopefully when you do roll you will be rolling across a flat parking lot instead of big sharp jagged rocks.

I'm not, and they are way more than 100 lbs. Just depends what you are trying to protect against. If I do a cage, it will be a six or eight point internal. If I flop my 80, so be it. If I hard roll it in any situation, especially at speed onroad, I want an internal cage for occupant protection.
But an exo can provide excellent protection for a flop, and for most of us who wheel hard, it is only a matter of time. Personally, I'll take my chances on that one.
