That's Carveacre trail off of Lyons Valley road near Jamul. It's pretty popular for a 2-4 hour round trip trail.

16x8 with 0 offset for '93 and newer. 15x7 with 8 offset for '91-'92.

Don't forget to post your rig's pix when you get it.

Welcome!

Here are a few of my mall cruiser from this weekend at MIOBI in IA. This was my fist event with the Iowa crew and I was impressed with the camaraderie and the friendly people I met. There were a lot of surprised faces to see my 80 doing its thing. I was going places were a Jeep continually got stuck and I didn't come close to getting stuck.

Best of all, this was the's first wheeling trip with me and she is already wanting to go again next year! She loved it. I will have an easy way to talk her into future mods like armor and bumpers now that she has seen the capability of the cruiser. Six week old George also came along in the second row in his carseat the whole time and rode like a champ. He didn't make a peep even through the bumps and off camber movements.

I look forward to meeting more mud members on future trail rides!

Here's me three weeks ago: YouTube - a.mus.ed on C-Gap

Didn't get up that time, couldn't stop thinking about it so I went back on Saturday to restore my honor. Got up this time, but I'm still waiting for the other guys to post up the pics...funny how they were so quick to post up this vid, and so slow to post up my victory. Bastards.

EDIT - Here are the pics:
Starting the climb

Near the top

Another view

I was a little excited at the top

Can't you see? In the last pic he just got done scaling that cliff and is taking a cool off break on the road. Before he heads back down.

its good to see some people on carveacre, I climbed that rock in my 85 toy 4x4 truck back in 86, stock with small tires, it was fairly easy getting up but took some jockying back and forth and e-brake tricks, to get it back down and pointed the right direction. nice view from the top.
can you take the road all the way through I seem to remember a bad washout coming down the backside (Lawson Valley) last time I was there

I'm all over the Step as soon as I get sliders. I have a feeling it might hurt a little without 'em. Anyone got about $899.99 I can "borrow"?
