Adam, what have you done to your truck? Looks like 3"+ lift and 35s?

Yeah it's pretty mild. But it does well. Here's the laundry list:
Modified ARB front bumper
J springs (in the pics it has OME mediums, J springs went on about a month ago)
Slee 1.5" spacers
RS9000 shocks (dead) ordering some L shocks this week.
Outback front control arms
swaybar drops
315's (BFG ATs)
Waiting to go on....
Trail Gear sliders (won them on Pirate)
Wild Yoats rear bumper
J-Moose style roof rack.

Tired Iron-
I have followed your build and admired your rig, but have only seen it in pics. But the video, ridiculous!! Those aren't even rocks.

Yea, it's strange for people to see a full bodied rig go thru stuff like that...it's always a crowd pleaser.

Tired Iron that is awesome. Those portals are really nice on the clearance issue. Most of us would be draggin' a PIG once or twice.
Where is that trail? I think I'll be keeping the DD 80 away from that one. Although the Heep would like that trail.
Watching the video I couldn't tell if your using the two footed technique, lt. brake, rt. gas. You prob. already know this, but it makes traversing monster rocks like that, smoother goin'.
Awesome rig, awesome trail! Thanks for sharrin'.

that makes me wonder if anyone has actually tipped the front end back over going up an obstacle in an 80?

that particular obstacle isn't as crazy as a lot out there but it sure makes you nervous because just below (on the left) of where those two people are standing is a long drop. This is on Steelbender in Moab. Normally the trail is run in the other direction where you're going down that ledge rather than up. Either way it can be nerve wracking.

here's a shot of Eric Vogt on the same obstacle from the other direction during Cruise Moab last year. nice little canyon to fall into if you mess up.

Now that I'm looking through the pics I took from Cruise Moab last year I found a few others. Here's a nice shot of DMC that same day on Steel Bender.

Those are great pics Adam.
The intensity of the geological formations out west really makes for an incredible backdrop to seeing Cruisers do their work....
Glad you are back on the forum....
