Hi Guys

I was using FJ80 Land Cruiser for quite long and then somehow planned to modify the over all body look to new FJ200 and apparently i hate steel bumpers.

Exact same shape was quite unattainable so i decided to lower the bumpers and go for wide body in order to give it a unique look. I still couldn't find the better rims to complement the ride...Anyways

Here are some of the pics

Where are you from?
More details?
Engine mods?
Certainly unique, nicely done though.

Flamesuit on! It's not gonna be very well appreciated on this forum, and I don't care for it, but looks like you put in a lot of effort and got the result you desired. Congrats!

Not my cup of tea but looks pretty cool too low for my taste lol

Is that for real or a photochop. While it is not my cup of tea either, I must admit whomever did the work (if not a photochop) spent a lot of hours getting that all together and for that I must say very nicely done.

As other have said, the low look is not really the norm around here, but I must give credit where it is due and someone either has some mad body work skills or is a master with the Pchop.

Doesn't look bad. I would like to see some more pictures of it. Did you change the back of the 80 or did you keep it unmodifided? I think it would look silly if you did all that work to the front and nothing to the back.. It wouldn't flow with the rest of the 80.

Have you done any other modifications? suspension, engine, or interior?

What else do you have planned for your 80?

Wow... I am actually at a loss for words, which is probably good.

And it was a diesel....

I must say gotta give him props for the body work, and as mot said thinking outside the box.

I've been trying to pull off a couple of conversions, and I know it's a lot of work, so way to take it to completion. We forget as offroaders that the 80 is also hardcore luxury... and it can go that way too. I think that would have looked sick going in the offroad direction too with a tube bumper.

Check out page 9 post 171. It's real and it appears to be in Karachi, Pakistan.

Project: cRuIs3r - Page 9 - PakWheels Forums

Here's the back of it:

Yeah it's my post!

just didn't get quite the response there in pakwheels.com cuz in my country Pakistan we people hardly believe in modification and the only luxury cars we drive are Honda Civic & Toyota Corolla...and the real price of FJ200 in pakistan after custom duty is $200,000 for the basic model..so had to go for modification :)

Thanks For liking it though :)

Ofcourse i've changed the tail lights and bumpers aswell, buuuuuuut FJ200 tail lights were quite impossible to fit due to huge width dimensions of it. So i went for FJ100 back which some how quite compliments it...exaust are still not installed yet.

Apart from this the changes i've made are

Engine: 2UZ-FE. . . ... Currently it's being installed so can't say anything about the changes in suspension, Ofcourse i will change it, if you have any suggestions regarding suspensions brakes and all do lemme know, cuz my car is with mechanic right now.

I honestly think it turned out alright. The one thing that looks "wrong" to me is the rear wheel arch. It looks too low and reminds me of those chevy trucks with the skirts over the rear wheel openings that grandpas like to drive.

Nice body job though.

Agreed, seems like for all of the nice curves that were added that arch looks a little unfinished.

As far as brakes, there are several places to get some nice slotted rotors. Try man-a-free or slee offroad. They both have upgraded rotors and pads. Suspension is going to be a little different, not sure I have seen any "high perf" coils for this type of application. There is another guy on MUD that has done some mods similar, maybe search around a bit.

Oh and is that $200,000 you mentioned, is that in USD? If so that is insane....

And Welcome as well.
