Am I calculating my fuel economy right?

So I have a few questions to ask about calculating both fuel economy and how my speedometer correction affects my economy.

I topped the tank

449kms 70.22L total
95L Tank

I got 15.64L/100kms.

Now for my speedometer correction.
the stock tire for an 80 is a 270/75/16 as far as i know.
I have a 3 inch lift and i am running 285/75/16.
I know traveling at ~94km/hour i am really traveling at 100km/hour

what am I missing to calculate an accurate L/100kms?
or am i doing it right and thats my true fuel economy?

EDITED. Pinhead caught my stupid error!

If your speedo indicates 94km/hr when true speed is 100km/hr, multiply your indicated kilometers traveled by 100/94 = 1.06. Then calculate fuel economy as standard (divide distance traveled by fuel used).

In your example:
449km indicated x 1.06 = 475.94 true kilometers traveled

475.94km / 70.22 liters = 6.78 km/l

Since you have larger tires, you go farther than the odometer indicates by 6%, so 449 times 1.06 = 476 km, or 14.74 L/100Km.

Pinhead caught my error. You're traveling further and faster than your speedo indicates, not less. Edited my post above.

MPG Fuel Consumption Calculator - eForecourt.com

I purchased 70.22 Litres of fuel, and I drove 475 kilometres.

Your calculated fuel consumption is 19.11 MPG

which BTW is shitty fuel mileage for a diesel, what speeds where you driving, the terrain and the conditions.

it was just below quarter when i filled it up. 140kms of that was steady highway driving cruise control at 94kms on the speedo aka 100kms/h
the rest of the kms were shitty prince rupert hilly stop go driving.

I like this fuel milage calculator, gives the l/100km and imp. mpg Fuel economy calculator litres per kilometre miles per gallon kilometer

Your milage is pretty low. I get around 23-24 mpg mixed driving, and up to 26mpg easy on the highway. Since you just got it, drive it around for a while, and you might find it gets better. I know mine did. I figure it probably hadn't been driven much for a while before it was sent to Canada.
