Thermostat and Rad. Cap

Are most of you guys replacing both of these with a coolant flush? OEM or is that necessary?

My base-lining continues...going well so far. Thanks for the help.

I'm still in the baselining process with you, so here goes:
If you're getting good back pressure on the rad cap, it can probably stay. Of course, it's a cheap easy replacement if you so desire. I would replace the thermo; it's also a cheap easy job and gives you the peice of mind that you have a fresh one opening at the right temp. They are less than $20 from CDan.

I should have done my thermostat when I redid the HG last year. Oh well... Probably do it sometime soon. Thanks for the reminder!
