Manik Bumper Install-stumped

I bought this from a fellow mud member, Jeremy/Prophecy, couple of months back. It didn't come with any hardware and Jeremy said it hooked right up to his truck. The mounting point is recessed underneath my front bumper. This leads me to believe there is some type of mounting hardware needed. I've searched here and online and cannot find anything. Does anyone have pics of the mounting point on the LX or LC?

I decided to forgo installing the brush guard and sell it. Trouble is I have advised potential buyers of the above senario and it has pushed them away b/c of additional costs. Any thoughts?

I realize the opinions of the majority of mud members here are against the "damage multiplier" all togethere; but, I dropped over $200 for this hardware, and would just like to recoupe some of it.

Thanks

I just yanked one of those off my brothers new 80 but his bolted to the bottom of the frame rails and had large steel washers between the POS and the frame. That doesn't appear to be a bolt in one unless it's missing the horizontal piece that allows it to bolt from the bottom.

It's not meant to completely replace the bumper?

I will have to agree. But why would it not bolt directly to the frame. Seems to me there needs to be a mounting bracket?

Anyone have pics of one installed?

Not sure if mine is a Manik or not, but looks like it came with mounting brackets. I think I took off the tow hooks when I mounted it. Hope this helps.

more pics

oh yeah, if you push something with the brush guard, or hook a tow rope on it to pull something, it will shift on the bolts.

Should be a simple little "L" bracket if you need to make a couple? Good Luck.
