Removal and Value of LX Body Cladding and Flares

I am in the process on removing the 450's cladding. This is a time consuming process as I do not know the "trick" appearantly to removing it intact.
So far nothing is broken, but wow, what a pain.

Will it be worth it? Is there a market on this stuff? What a headache. Any tips?

I like my body cladding.

I like the look that it gives, and I like that if I brush up against something I have some flex before metal starts denting. (Been there, done that.)

If you want to send me your body cladding I won't say no.

I had trail deleted my RR and LF flares already. I figured the rest is subject to damage if I leave it on. Thanks.

i was interested in doing the same thing until I found out how many fastners hold the cladding on. I counted about 15 alone on just the fender molding. Even if I replced the trim with line-x, or something similar, I would have to fill those holes prior. Seemed like to much work, at least for now. I may re look this again later.

Well it is done. over 40 holes on each side! yes, it is a pain. i have a plan, and will document it if it works.

I've considered doing the same myself. but preferred the look of the flares. Then again, I also like the look of a de-flared 80 as well.

Brett, can we see how it looks before you begin filling holes?
