[S.CarolinaFZJ80]

Well I went to the local Toyota stealership to get an antenna mast for my '96, build date 7/96. I was given part #86337-60080 but after disassembling my motor, it obviously won't fit. My mast has no teeth on it and the replacement part does.

After reading the threads on here and viewing the pics, my motor is completly different!

Did the dealership botch up or was the wrong year motor put into my Cruiser at some point during it's life.

Can any of you ID this or verify that this is the one used on earlier FJ80's?

I am still looking for the antena kit, my dealer say there is no one availabile :(

S.CarolinaFZJ80 it does look a bit different than mine. That said take a look at the one in this link... http://www.spokanister.net/vehicles_antenna.htm ... the units look about the same. In fact them motors while different colors, they may have the same part number on them. Kind of hard to tell.

I found this part number in a thread regarding antenna repairs, Toyota Part # 86353-14332. The local dealer parts guy says it is in the system and in the warehouse buit their is no picture, description or details about what it is or fits!?!?
