Just buy the MetalTech and sell the ARB after. You should be able to sell the used ARB for about the same price as the purchase of the MetalTech.

OK Its official. I just got off the phone with LT and we are at 10 or 11 so we all get the 20% discount!

He will start shipping bumpers and older sliders Mon and Tues. Newer sliders will have to wait until he gets the laser cutting in. Anybody want to ship their stuff to SnT to split shipping up? I can deliver to LAX area in a week or two. Or if you or a friend are coming to SnT you could pick up/mudship from here. I don't mind running the stuff down to the event and meeting up with someone to haul it off. Even if you are doing newer sliders I might still order a pair of those that I could ship with someone else to the LA area and pick up later.

Posted up in the other thread too but I emailed Mark about a set of tube doors for my 40 - Been trying to get them ordered but they have been out of stock.

Count me in if Mark ok's the order - They would need to ship to CO and I can just pay Mark directly assuming that is ok. Sounds like the group is already over the 10 pcs and everyone gets the 20% discount

My understanding from LT is that whatever is not in stock right now will be part of the order, it will just be shipped when it is ready. We have already passed the 10 item mark, so everything from here on is 20% discount. Payments will go directly to MT when you order. When the item is shipped, the card that you give will be charged.

So stoked that another one of my hair brained ideas came through. I wanted a bumper, but am too damn cheap to pay the full amount. My wife always gets irritated with how much free or discounted stuff I get just for asking. My thoughts are that if you don't ask, you won't know. Worst someone can say is no. Luckily LT was willing to work with us. We got great pricing, he got a lot of publicity with aver 2500 views on these threads. Glad that worked out for you Leroy. I woulda felt like a wanker if you ended up not being able to sell that bumper

So the genesis of this bumper buy was me running into my brother in laws tire when he spun his Rubicon in front of me while we were goofing off in the snow last winter. I hit my brakes and slid right into him, aiming for his front tire at the last minute (it was that or hit him square in the middle of the rocker panel which woulda sucked for both of us). He was fine, I jacked my bumper. So after ordering my MT bumper yesterday, I called my insurer today and it looks like they are going to pay for almost my entire MT bumper without raising my rates at all. Maybe I should add the sliders to my order????

Last I talked to LT on Friday we were at 10 or 11, so unless someone called and backed out, we are good to go. I believe that he will start shipping out today. I am really hoping to have mine here, painted, and mounted by SnT.

Talked to Mark today and confirmed my order went through and with a slight hesitation He did confirm that we are receiving 20%...lol
We really got an awesome deal on this, he was telling me that they usual GB's are 10% off for three or more shipped to the SAME address but through some mishap we got off with multiple shipping allowed. S

That is how this group buy started, all shipped to SnT. But when that was not looking good I asked about different addresses and LT said that was fine. Once I posted this part, it really took off and we hit 10 no problem. Post up when your stuff gets to you and post before and after pics if you can. Especially those of you who got rid of the ARB for the Metal Tech.

Well I picked up my bumper at the shipping terminal at 5:45 this morning. Looks so nice. Now off to paint it and mount it up. I will take some before and after pics and post them up. Any of you that got bumpers planning on lights? if so what kind?

When I spoke to them yesterday I was told mine wouldn't ship 'til Monday....
I think he only had so much steel on the shelf and not enough to complete all orders. Oh well. First come first served.... and I definitely wasn't first.

yes, he had three bumpers done when we started the group buy along with some pre 95 slides. Everything else is being built in batches, all the bumpers at once, then all the sliders, and shipped off as completed. I know that he was short some lazer cut parts for both the bumpers and sliders, but was rushing the parts.

I was confused because he had the sliders already built and mine did not ship until Wednesday and I will not get them till Tuesday. I was hoping to put them on this weekend. Oh well...
