1993 FZJ80 Replacement Cat and Downpipe Pictures Needed

I bought a 1993 cruiser with factory lockers last week. 195,000mi, 2 owners, near perfect shape, almost no rust. The stock muffler and resonator were rusted out bad so I had a dynomax off of my old rock crawler and a pipe welded on. Next problem is the rusted out cats. I ordered a magnaflow 59906 high flow cat, but I just need some suggestions and photos for the pipe work. I have searched and have not found many pics. I'd like to see pictures, and product #'s if you have them, for what you did to join the 2 down pipes from the manifold to meet up with the 1 cat vs 2 cats. The only thing I found was a picture of someone who basically cut the 2 downpipes and shoved them into a 2.5" pipe and welded it up. I'd like something cleaner if possible. Thanks.

Love the sig line

the 93 should have the 1fz motor so your exhaust is on the pass. side but did you have the side by side cats or the two inline cats? That "y" pipe is pretty pricey there so make sure its not cracked and try not to cut into it if not necessary. Im a little confused as it should have a flange at the end of the Y pipe you should be able to mate your magnaflow to (unless you had the side by sides and I'm not familiar w/ that setup).

edit* ok in rereading it sounds like the 93's have two pipes from the manifold all the way to the side by side cat. converters. I know summit sells 2 into 1 collectors but not sure of the diameters available. i see 2 2.25 into 1 2.5'' listed

youve probably seen this one....

dual inlets and single outlet on the cat. I also forgot the 93/94's had one O2 sensor in each pipe before the cats and none afterwards.

No one has any pictures of their side by side 2 into 1 conversion?
