Everyone I am looking for pictures of DOT markings on OEM headlights, windows, windshields and tail lights, mirrors and seat belts for a 1990 land cruiser. Please post pics ASAP so I can check my JDM!! Please post good clear closeups. Thanks
The glass wont have DOT markings depending were you live I assume Japan your glass will prbably be temperlite not laminated as in north america markings for laminated usually is AS1 windshiels and AS2 for side and rear glass.
all plastic lense coverings side markers and rear tail and front flasher will have DOT and or SAE on them in very tiny writting very hard to make out unless new.
Not sure on the seat belts some have tags sewn on them that say DOT approved but rare on older models.
Headlights wont say DOT unless they are OEM aftermarket will have SAE the headlights that are standard in Japan KOITO do not meet north american standard and have to be changed over.
