Redundant comment and you probably don't really even care, but......
BFG AT's have worked out really well for me. I had some Swamper SSRs, then some Goodyear MTRs on the 80 before I went to the AT's and did so because it started seeing a lot more road use as my wife's DD. They've been an excellent road tire. I've never experienced any of the quirky wet road behavior that some mention. They've preformed well on snowy roads here in Utah and driving up snowy canyons to snowboard. As for wheeling, clearly there are better rock crawling tires, but the BFG AT's have been a huge surprise on the trail. I didn't expect them to be very good on the trail at all but they've been great with lots of desert road, some rockcrawling, wet/muddy trails, snow, and lots of Moab slickrock.
On top of that, I had over 60K miles on them until last week when one of them somehow ended up with a cut sidewall. Probably from some road debris. Still have tread on them, but I ended up replacing them with another full set of ATs. The remaining 3 good tires that I took off will be used on my off-road trailer to match the truck. That's excellent ROI if you ask me.
So there will be people that hate the BFG AT's but they've been great for me.
