After what seems like an exhausted search for the perfect freaking tire...I made a decision. It's looking like about $750 delivered for a set of 285/75/16 for the lx450. That's after the mail in rebate. (onlinetires.com)

I should probably just have two sets of tires up here, but not yet. It sounds like this tire fits my bill anyway.

Here is a very useful comparison site if you can stomach looking at some jeeps, excuse me, I think I just threw up a litte.

Nice, post up pics when you get them on. There was a pretty good sale going on for them a while back that I missed, they looked pretty good.

everyone ive talked to with the FC-II (mostly full size trucks) has said they were quiet wore well and rode nice on pavement. Although they are not a full out mud terrain people say they are a good tire.

Im actually still pondering over a 36" MTZ for later this year but im still putting money in my "tire bank" and have decent tread left on the Open country's.
