HDJ81 Fuel Return Line?

Hey all,

Is there a fuel return line back to the HDJ81 or HDJ80's fuel tank or is the fuel just looped back to the IP?

Thanks

Karter

There were 3 spots that we had to weave through rubbing on the gutters, and just clearing the fender flares, I'm happy we found a spot that we could clear out by hand, to get turned around. I think everyone suffered some type of body damage."

Don't all modern FI systems have return lines anyways (to the tank)? I know Diesels have always had them but I thought most gasoline EFI vehicles do too?

Different applications for different diesels, some use it for cooling, some for removing air bubbles from the fuel, some to keep pressure on the injectors. Some all of the above

another question then, does it HAVE to be routed back to the fuel tank?
I would say yes . These pumps get hot and they need all the cooling they can get.
And as they pump up to 46 litres per hour ,you would have the problem of what to do with all the excess fuel.

i was just trying to figure out for my future wvo conversion.
I know in the case of my dads BJ70 i can just use one hydraforce valve for the conversion. While in the case of the 81 i would have to use two hydraforce valves.
Thanks for the info!
