Firewall Bushing/Bearing for steering shaft

I have a 1995 TLC and the steering has had a fair amount of play in it, I tracked it down to the penetration of the steering shaft through the firewall. There is a rubber gromit and it looks like there should be a bushing or bearing there. When the wheel is turned the shaft rolls along the bottom of the hole instead of turning in place. And help on even what the hell this part is called would be a big help.

Thanks
Shane

There is a dust seal p/n 45292-35050 ($12) that goes down there. Common to wear out.
It's not meant to provide that much support, just keeps moisture and dust out.
If you still have too much movement or the seal wears out too soon then you have other worn components in the steering shaft area.
