Rear Spring Perches-Bent

Does anyone elses look like this?

How would they get bent if the spring isnt really even contacting them, most of the time anyway. Guess I will be prying them back and adding a gusset to keep it from happening again.

Looks like a factory shaped mount to me - not bent.
