"El Tractor 2" New Shoes
Well, almost new. They were inherited from "El Tractor" ( my old 60). One rim had to be fixed from an accident. The tires are 33's and the wheels are 15x10. due to some small rubbing. Tomorrow I have to trim the front corners on the bumper The pics are one before and two after.

More Pics
Here are some daytime pictures, found a small problem; when I do a full wheel lock turn, the tires rub in the back of the fender. Any suggestions?

Suggestion to fix rubbing?
Go back to your OEM rims.
Are the tires on the alloys no good, or you just prefer the wide steel rims?

I had these set on my 60 and had no problems, I think that if I can get the truck lifted at least 1 inch, the problem will be solved. First I 'm going to try re adjusting the wheels stops.

Those wheels are ugly as hell on your 80. Put that rubber on your OEM wheels if you want to run them.

I kinda like those steelies. . But agree something is up with them if there rubbing. Guess you'll have to bump the lift up the priority list

What about new 16" shoes for your alloys?
I wish it was realistic to send you my old 275/70 Revos.
They have several thousand miles left.

IMHO it's backspacing what causes rubbing, i've the same size tires on 8J-15 ET -28 rims, it's '91 FJ80 with tired stock springs and only rubbing comes from bumper corners.

They rub in the back not on the bumper, I already sawed some of the plastic. These are as ugly as the white spoke steelies, but they work great off road and they keep corrosion (major problem here) at bay. Spacing will not do anything, I think I'll have to move the lift kit up in the to do list.
