Why don't you just order a '97 hard line? I don't know which other years were the same, but they are not likely different from at least 95-97 as the AC is a pretty basic system... If you're thinking of getting one from a junker, I'd think twice IMO as the process of removal and installation might have introduced dirt and/or fatigue on the tubing. IIRC, they are not all that expensive--I bought one from Dan a couple of years ago.

I bought the shorter of the two line from CDan a few month ago, it was not very expensive at all.

I seriously doubt I could have gotten it much cheper from a wrecking yard.

New line come with new rubber O-rings as well.

X2 on calling CDan. I just bought both lines and the dryer, not expensive at all, ( 70-80 bucks). Get the line to the dryer and the line from the dryer. BUT buy them from CDan, 'cause you local dealer does want an arm and a leg for them.

Replace the lines with new ones, replace the dryer, since it's been exposed to outside air for some time, oh yeah and make sure and re-use the pressure switch from your old lines, you will need it, then vacuum out the whole system and check for leaks, charge it back up and back to being cool!!

Good luck.

I just replaced one on my 97, bought it from the dealer and it seems like it wasn't more than about $75? Make sure you replace the drier at the same time, I bought the drier from Auto Zone for about $20 maybe, it was cheap anyway. The air is ice cold now.

It's much more fun to build them yourself. That's the route I'd go.
