Dunlop Radial Rover AT

Anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with these tires. I am looking for some 305/70/16's in an all terrain. Just something to get me to my favorite hunting spots, be comfy on the highway, and get good wear.
thanks in advance

Dunlop

I've run 2 sets of Rover Radials R/Vs on my 62 and like them well enough.

A bit more agrressive tread than the A/Ts, IMHO.

I've ran 1 set of A/Ts and 2 sets of Rovers on a 92 4Runner I had. Very good road wear. As for the Rovers, they are good on rocks but suck in snow and mud. As long as your hunting spots aren't in muddy areas you'll be ok.

I don't know if they have your size in the Radial Rover R/Ts but these tires are awesome in the snow and for all around decent tire. They performed well in not so gooey mud and in Moab. I would've bought another set if they had them in 315s. Good luck.

I ran a set on my older Isuzu trooper 3.2 and got around 45,000 miles out of them. They rode nice. Good tire in my opinion. I looked for the Rover RV but they don't make that any more. It's a good tire too, just a little more agressive. Looks like it has been superseeded with the radial rv.

These are the ones I am thinking about:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes
They are under $130 a piece from tire rack. It says low availibility though. I looked on Dunlops site and they dont even show this size. Did they discontinue it. I kind of dont want a discontinued tire incase I need to replace sometime down the road.

I have the A/T's on mine as we speak. The PO put them on less than 200 miles before I bought it. So I guess I am stuck with them for a while. Not the worst tire I have ever run on a truck before...that would be a Tiger Paw, thank you Chevy.

I have not had it in the mud a whole lot but they to fill up quickly and don't clear themselves very well.

But if that isn't your thing, then I think you could do a lot worse.

Hi TX_TLC, how's the cruiser doing? What was the damage after the accident? We need to plan for another BF packing party!
